Solve Router Overheating Issues

I have replaced this router with a newer model that supports AC. This particular one (model E4200) came out when wireless N wasn't even finalized yet.

Anyway... at the end of using this, I faced multiple daily reboots. The room it's stored in is relatively hot, and it always seemed to want to reboot when I started a big download or streaming video.

Using an old PC fan, blowing the heat out of the top solved the rebooting problem. The fan is 12v and it runs on 5v from the NAS USB port in the back. If needed, I could run it at 12v using the routers input power. (The input power brick is not the original one, as it developed a bad solder joint due to wire strain from being pulled. The power brick being used is a DirecTV 12v 4a one from Ebay.)
